John and Edward – Bio of the X Factor Twins

Some facts about John and Edward Grimes, the identical twins on XFactor 2009.

• John and Edward Grimes are from Dublin.
• The high haired brothers are 17 years of age
• John and Edward are both still at school and live with their parents
• When they were 15 they entered a talent competition at their local school. Edward won, but John was third.
• The boys once bumped into the Pussycat Dolls in a Dublin hotel bar. According to the boys they were invited to a party with the girls but were too young to go.
• They went on holiday this year to Villamoura in Portugal and could be seen and heard in the Karaoke bars in the port.

When asked why they wanted to be pop stars they were keen to mention the obvious ‘pulling power’ it would give them, refering to the teenage girl groupies they have already started to attract. Whether they can get enough of them to pick up the phone and vote for them in the Live XFactor Finals Show, is another thing.
