Those ‘terrible twins’ hit the XFactor roadshow today and bounded into the show on what promises to be an eventful journey for John and Edward Grimes. These two lovely Irish lads (although funnily enough with a psuedo american speaking voice) travelled from Ireland, leapt onto the stage and immediately upset Simon. In my book upsetting Simon Cowell is no bad thing, alhough it might prove otherwise for the high haired duo. Louis, predictably enough saw enough of the Boyzone confidence and fresh faced look in them to put them through to the next round before they’d sang a note. In the end it’s a mediocre vocal, but they made up for that in spades with their personality and a ‘certain something’ as Cheryl Cole put it.

Simon thinks they are two of the most annoying people he has ever met (looked in a mirror recently Simon !) and said No almost immediately, and with Louis Walsh and Danni Minogue in favour it came down to Cheryl’s vote to get them into boot camp.
An eventful first audition, and the Grimes twins enthusiasm is unchecked as they wave to the crowd and bound off stage again.

Thanks for adding the link. I like your site. Still gots loads of catching up to do on the blog, including a video of the boys in Vilamoura, Portugal this July singing Karaoke in a bar with my other half and I! They sang the same song that they did for their first audition. Couldn’t believe it when we saw them on the X Factor and have been frantically looking for the memory card with the video on but we have it now, so it’ll be up soon. Take care.
