Louis Walsh signs John and Edward
John and Edward have signed a deal with X Factor judge Louis Walsh to manage their careers. Louis is already looking into record deals and TV presenting opportunities after the Jedward twins have been inundated with offers since they left the X Factor two weeks ago. After mentoring John and Edward Grimes during the X Factor finals he is “delighted” to work with them again but said it is “too early” to give any precised details of plans for the future of the boys whether it be through the medium of Pop Music or TV or as is widely predicted a mixture of the two. John and Edward, known to their many fans as Jedward, whose performances divided the X Factor judges, were voted off the show last month. “Despite all the doubters, John and Edward proved themselves on The X Factor and I’ve always been convinced that they have a great career ahead of them,” Walsh said. Jedward leave X Factor, John and Edward are out
John and Edward, left the X Factor tonight in week 7 of the live shows. In a surprise result, Jedward found themselves in the sing off with Olly Murs, who many thought of as a favourite to win the competition. After last night’s performances where John and Edward sang I’m your Man and Wham Rap, and the judges mixed reactions they must have feared being in the bottom two. Surely however, not with Olly, with Lloyd and Danyl favourites to join Jedward singing to save their X Factor lives. Jedward X Factor Wham rap. You heard it here first yesterday. Singing a compilation of I’m Your Man and Wham Rap Jedward took to the X Factor stage last night in the latest big production number for John and Edward. Jedward had a platform with their names printed on it and wore the trademark 80’s Choose Life T-Shirts with white blazers and white trousers made famous by George Michael and Andrew Ridgely all those years ago. Dannii told them: ‘You look amazing. I want your costumes so badly – I’m going to steal them from your dressing room later’. John and Edward Grimes John and Edward are all set to wham it up on this week’s X Factor. Jedward have been rehearsing I’m Your Man and Wham Rap for this week’s X Factor show. Which one will they be performing on Saturday? Perhaps both … Bring on the Jedward Wham Rap! The X Factor theme for the week had been changed several times before Simon Cowell finally settled on a Wham / George Michael combo and the remaining performers were given their songs for the week. John and Edward must have felt the knives out for them this week after last weekend’s X Factor storm. So X Factor song choice this week for Jedward, Under Pressure – the Queen / David Bowie classic. An apt choice for John and Edward which has been changed from the initial one of ‘Radio Ga Ga’. After last week’s show when they found themselves in the bottom two with Welsh beauty Lucie Jones, the X Factor duo mentored by Louis Walsh had to endure a barrage of protests that threatened to spark a national debate and an Ofcom enquiry when Simon Cowell saved them and the public vote meant Lucie had to leave.
